This piece celebrates familismo, the Latin cultural value of deep family connection, as a source of support, resilience and healing. The intertwined figures represent generational unity, emotional support, and shared identity. Bold colors and floral motifs evoke the vibrancy of love and the strength found in familial bonds. In times of mental struggle, familismo offers sanctuary—a reminder that healing is collective, not solitary. Through this work, I honor the power of family to nurture, protect, and restore the soul.
